What are fridge panels?
“Fridge panels” are insulated sandwich panels — two steel skins bonded to a foam core — used to build the walls, roof and floor of walk-in fridges, freezers and cold rooms. They’re the same product the industry calls cool room panels or coolroom paneling. The foam core (EPS or PIR) is what keeps the cold in and the heat out, so your refrigeration runs less and your power bill stays down.

Fridge panel sizes & thickness
Panel thickness sets the insulation value (R-value) and the coldest temperature the room will hold. Standard cover width is ~1150mm; lengths are cut to order.

What are fridge panels made of?
Two steel skins (usually 0.45mm Colorbond) bonded to an insulating foam core — either EPS (expanded polystyrene) or PIR (polyisocyanurate). More on sandwich panels →
What thickness fridge panel do I need?
50mm suits most walk-in fridges and cool rooms (down to ~2°C). Use 100mm for freezers (−18°C) and 75mm for cold rooms in hot climates.
How much do fridge panels cost?
