Two things set how cold a room can hold: panel thickness and core material. This kit uses a 100mm PIR core - a higher-performance insulation than EPS - giving freezer-grade performance from chilled 0-4°C right down to −18°C.

- Only need a chiller? Our EPS panels are a lighter-cost option - 50mm EPS (~R1.4) for standard cool rooms, 75mm EPS (~R2.1) for cold rooms and light freezers.

Stand each panel and slide the tongue-and-groove edges into place - they self-align.

Insert an allen key through the small port and turn; the built-in cam pulls the join tight, square and airtight.

Both. You can order the room only and fit your own refrigeration, or add a compressor matched to the room size and target temperature so it arrives ready to run.

No. The cam-lock system is designed for DIY assembly - panels lock together airtight with an allen key, no cutting or trades required. Most standard rooms are assembled in a day with two people.
